The desk is made from particleboard and MDF in a grey or white finish, with three drawers on smooth roller runners and black metal handles on one side and two open shelves on the other. The Lumera is upholstered in soft chenille in Ivory or Beige over a foam-filled seat, and sits on a metal swivel base with hard plastic double castors and a height adjustment mechanism.

The chair seat adjusts to a comfortable working height for the desk, and the back gives steady upper-body support without feeling enclosed. The reinforced desktop has room for a monitor, laptop and keyboard, while the drawers keep chargers, stationery and paperwork out of sight. The open shelves suit files, storage baskets, or a printer or router, keeping the worktop clear. The chenille upholstery meets UK fire regulations (UKFR), and the castors roll easily across hard floors and low-pile carpet.
