Dallas Herringbone 2 Door Compact Bookcase

Measuring W79cm x D39cm x H124cm, the Dallas Herringbone 2 Door Compact Bookcase is made from particleboard in a black wood-grain finish, with two herringbone wood-effect doors and wooden knob handles. It stands on solid rubberwood legs. Open shelving sits above a 2-door cupboard on the left, with a column of open compartments on the right, giving 4 shelves in total.

The mix of open and closed storage means books, plants and display pieces can sit on show while games, files and chargers go behind the doors. The left-hand shelf takes up to 11kg, and on the right the fixed shelf holds 8kg and the adjustable shelf 6kg, with 30cm between shelves - enough for most paperbacks and hardbacks standing upright. Raised on legs, it is easy to clean underneath and looks lighter than a solid-base bookcase.

The Dallas Herringbone 2 Door Compact Bookcase is part of the Dallas range, available at Big Furniture Warehouse, alongside the Dallas Herringbone 2 Door Tall Bookcase, Dallas Herringbone 3 Door Sideboard, Dallas Herringbone 2 Door Sideboard, Dallas Herringbone 2 Door TV Stand and Dallas Herringbone 1 Drawer Coffee Table - all sold separately. At 124cm high it suits a living room, a home office, a hallway or a dining room where you want storage without a full-height unit. It is less suited to housing a large book collection - the Dallas Herringbone 2 Door Tall Bookcase offers more shelf space.

Assembly required - fixings and instructions included; 2 people recommended, screwdriver required.

Safety wall strap included and should be fitted.

Maximum shelf weight 11kg (left shelf), 8kg (right fixed shelf) and 6kg (right adjustable shelf).
